Before, I use to love different colors for my desktop. I would download WIndows Blinds to get the latest themes, change my cursors every now and then, and would even search the Internet for a program that lets me shuffle my wallpapers every time! But last month, my desktop broke down and I had to endure the other desktop, which is really slow. :( Then I tried setting my visual preferences to what will suit for best performance, and it changed all the visuals of the desktop, changing everything to Windows 95 style. Cool! I browse faster, and by additonally increasing the paging file, my 256 MB RAM seemed like a 512! Haha!

And because I use the laptop to program and to play games at times, I tried using the same thing. This time, with 1 GB RAM! The laptop looked retro-cool, and I added a very "peaceful" wallpaper to clean my 1280x800 view. Check it out.

Imagine this on a Widescreen View

Pretty neat huh? Now, Alt-Tab power is increased, visuals that aren't needed are not stored anymore on the RAM, and the laptop is at its best performance, gaming or programming. :D
